Android How to Set up Screen Lock

With this option you can set up an amount of time after which your phone locks the screen.

When you activate this option, the pattern you chose will be shown for a short time when you put it in to unlock your screen. This is to make sure you did draw the right pattern, however, people behind you could watchthis over your shoulder and are able to unlock your phone too.

If you activate this option, pressing your power button will not only set your device into sleep mode, but will also lock your device regardless of the time you chose.

A screen lock helps you keep your device secure and is also required for the fingerprint as a second security option. You have the possibility to choose a pattern to unlock your device.
