Display brightness

The brightness of the display of your Huawei smartphone can be changed either over the status bar, or over the settings.

Note: The display is one of the top 3 if you talk about battery drainage. If you set your display on 100%, your battery will be drained fastly. For the best battery usage, you can activate automatic brightness.

Automatic brightness

Automatic brightness fits the brightness of your Huawei device's display automatically to the lighting conditions of your surroundings. You can still adjust the brightness manually if needed.

Colour mode & temperature

You can adjust the colour scheme of your Huawei device completely to your liking. You can not only change the standards, like "warm" and "Cold" colours, you can also choose the warmth of the colours freely. With the setting "lively", all colours will be friendlier.

Step 4:  Choose  Normal ,  Vivid  or change the  Colour temperature

Display size

You can change the size of screen elements on your Huawei device. App shortcuts can change place due to resizing, but you can move them back with ease.

Screen resolution

The screen resolution can be changed manually if you are not happy with the "smart resolution", which is set by default. The "Smart resolution" reduces the display resolution to save battery. If you wan to adjust the resolution manually,the choice is HD and FHD +.

Mistouch prevention

If the touch protection is activated on the Huawei smartphone, accidental operation of the phone, for example when it is in a pocket, is prevented

Step 3:  Tap on  Mistouch prevention

Raise to wake device

The Huawei smartphone screen can be woken automatically when the device is raised or picked up.
This setting is located in the Motion Control menu in the accesibility features.

Note: If a screen lock is activated, it must still be unlocked via PIN or password.

Step 4:  Tap on  Raise
Step 5:  Enable or disable  Wake device

Screen timeout

The Huawei smartphone can automatically go into standby mode when we are not using the device, with a minimum of 15 seconds to a maximum of 10 minutes.

Note: If a lock screen password or fingerprint is set as the unlock method, it will be needed to use the device again.

Step 4:  Choose an  option  to set the screen timeout

Auto-rotate screen

If we rotate the Huawei smartphone horizontally, the displayed screen content automatically rotates with it. To enable o disable this auto-rotation, we simply open the quick settings and tap Auto-rotate.
