Set volume for media, ringtone, alarms and calls

In order to change the volume of various tones on the Huawei device, we navigate to the Sounds & vibration settings. With the slider we can decrease and / or increase the volume of the following options:

  • Media, Music, Video, Games
  • Ringtone
  • Alarm
  • Calls

Step 3: Pull the slider to the left or right

Default volume button control

Using the standard volume control, you can set whether you want to change the media or the ringtone volume on your Huawei smartphone. By default, the device is set on media volume.

Ringtone volume

The ringtone volume on the Huawei smartphone can be controlled independently of the media or alarm clock volume, including the volume of the notification sounds of incoming SMS or WhatsApp messages, for example.
