Huawei How to Manage Albums in Gallery

To keep track of the gallery app on the Huawei smartphone and provide quick access to photos, we can create different albums and move the photos we want into them. We can name the photo album as we like, for example, to keep the photos from our last vacation together and separate from the others. After creating an album, we can add photos directly, and we are asked if photos should be copied or moved into this album.

Once we have backed up the created albums with their associated photos in a separate cloud or on a PC or laptop, the albums can be deleted on the Huawei smartphone to free up storage space. When an album is deleted, all the photos in it are also deleted. Before deleting, we are asked if the album should be deleted from the cloud or synchronized devices.

We can hide the created albums in the gallery app of the Huawei smartphone, so they are not immediately visible when the app is opened. This feature is useful when albums with e.g. holiday photos are not necessarily used or needed every day, but are safely stored.

The hidden albums in the gallery app of the Huawei smartphone can be shown again in just a few steps, so all selected albums will be displayed in the gallery overview again.

When creating a new album in the Gallery app, we immediately assign a name to it, which can be changed at any time to organize the existing albums on the Huawei smartphone.
