Assign a ringtone to a contact
In addition to the standard ringtone, you can also add a special, personal ringtone so you will know who is calling without looking at your device.
- Open Contacts
- Choose a contact
- Tap on Ringtone
- Tap on Allow if necessary
- Choose a ringtone
- Tap on Back
Assign a picture to a contact
Aside of names, numbers and other informations, you can also assign a personal contact picture to a contact saved on your Huawei device. You can either choose a picture out of your folders or you can take a new picture directly.
Note: In this guide we use an already saved picture from the storage.
- Open Contacts
- Choose a contact
- Tap on Edit
- Tap on Profilepicture
- Choose Take photo or Choose from Gallery
- Choose an Album/Folder
- Choose a picture
- Tap on accept
- Fit the picture in
- Tap on Save
Add more details to your contacts
You can edit the contacts on your Huawei devices completely to your wishes whenever you want to add some new details like birthdays, adresses and URL's.
- Open Contacts
- Choose a contact
- Tap on Edit
- Tap on the details you want to add
- Confirm with Save
Add birthdays to a contacts
We can add more details to the stored contacts on the Huawei smartphone afterwards, including the birthday, which can never be forgotten afterwards.
- Open the Contacts app
- Choose a contact
- Tap on Edit
- Tap on Add more fields
- Tap on Date in the Birthday field
- Enter the birthday and tap OK
