Huawei backup

With the Huawei data backup, you can create and restore a backup of the Huawei smartphone. An external memory, such as the memory card or microSD or USB memory, can be selected. You also do have the option of saving the backup to the computer using HiSuite.

Note: In this manual we only lead to the menu item mentioned. Please follow the instructions on the screen.

Step 1:  Open the  settings
Step 2:  Tap on  System & updates
Step 3:  Tap on  Backup & restore
Step 4:  Tap on  Data backup
Step 5:  Choose  External storage  or  HiSuite  and follow the instructions on your display

Back up to Google

It is also possible to back up data or create a backup of the Huawei smartphone using our Google account. The backup is saved in the cloud / Google Drive. Restoration is possible at any time.

Note: If the Google data backup is activated, the backup account must be selected.

Choose backup account

The backup via the Google account is saved in Google Drive. Before that, you have to select or add the security account on your Huawei smartphone.

Restore backup

A backup can be restored directly via the settings of the Huawei smartphone without having to reset the device. We can choose which backup should be restored.

Auto-backup

In order not to forget any data backup, we can specify that an automatic backup of the Huawei smartphone is saved once a week,
whereby it must be considered that the device is connected to the charger and that at least 75% of the battery capacity is available.

Step 8:  Select de  backup data  and tap  OK
Step 9:  Confirm with  OK
