Notification sound

As with the ringtones, you can set the notification tone for incoming messages or notices on the Huawei smartphone itself. This is set as the default and used for every notification, unless an app-specific notification tone is selected.

Step 3: Tap on Notification sound
Step 4: Choose a ringtone

Sound for appointmets/events

We can set a notification tone for the created appointments or events of the calendar app on the Huawei smartphone, and in addition to the pre-installed tones, we can select custom (.mp3) tones.

Set custom notification sound

As setting the own ringtones, in addition to the pre-installed tones on the Huawei smartphone, we can also set our own notification sounds or tones, which can either be copied from the PC to the internal memory of the Huawei device via a USB cable, or be downloaded directly from the internet, using the browser app.

Note: In this manual, we will set an existing notification tone.
