Auto-align
If auto-align is activated on your Huawei device, empty spaces on your home screen will be filled automatically after deleting one app by aligning the apps anew.

- Open the settings
- Tap on Home screen & wallpaper
- Tap on Home screen settings
- Activate or deactivate Auto-align
Notch
Today's displays have a small notch to accommodate the front camera. You can adjust the display on the Huawei device so that content is not cut off from the notch, but the side areas are darkened.

- Open the settings
- Tap on Display & brightness
- Tap on More display settings
- Tap on Notch
- Choose between Default and Hide notch
Display network speed
You can display the current speed of the Internet connection on the Huawei smartphone. This is shown at the top left, next to the notch.
Note: The speed only increases during a download, surfing the Internet, or background activities.

- Open the settings
- Tap on Display & brightness
- Tap on More display settings
- Activate or deactivate Display network speed
Battery percentage
Depending on the setting, the status of the battery charge can be seen in the status bar of your Huawei smartphone and in some apps. But if you don't want to estimate your percentage, you can easily activate the battery percentage. From now on you can see exactly how high the remaining battery level is. You will have the following display types to choose from on the Huawei device:
- Do not show
- Next to battery icon
- Inside battery icon

- Open the settings
- Tap on Battery
- Tap on Battery percentage
- Choose between Do not show, Next to battery icon or Inside battery icon
Show/hide carrier name
We can manually specify whether the network operator or carrier name should be displayed in the upper left corner next to the notch of the Huawei smartphone in case the status bar seems to be too cluttered.
Note: When using Dual SIM, both network operators are displayed one below the other in the status bar.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display & brightness
- Tap on More display settings
- Enable or disable Display carrier name
