Huawei How to Change Keyboard Layout

By default, the Huawei smartphone uses a gray background color for the keyboard. You can change the design, which affects the background and keys of the keyboard layout. You'll have a choice of numerous colors and designs, such as color gradients.

You can display all available accents of a letter on the Huawei smartphone by tapping and holding the letter. If you want to display all available accents, you can set this in the keyboard settings.

If the emoji button on the Huawei smartphone is disabled, you can access the emojis via the enter button. You can easily (de-) activate this function for chat apps, such as Messenger or WhatsApp.

By default, no arrow keys are displayed on the keyboard of the Huawei smartphone. If you miss this function or need it for easier operation, you will find the solution in the keyboard settings. After activation, the arrow keys are displayed below the keyboard.

In the standard settings of the Huawei smartphone, numbers are displayed above the row of letters. In the keyboard settings, the number key row can be (de-) activated, with which the numbers are added in a further row to the upper edge of the keyboard.

If you switch to the number and symbol layout on the keyboard of the Huawei smartphone, the numbers are displayed in the top row by default. However, you can also display these as a numeric keypad and can determine whether they are right-justified or left-justified.

The default keyboard of the Huawei smartphone does not directly offer an automatic solution for side-pinning the keyboard, but by changing the size, it can be positioned on one side to facilitate one-handed operation.
