SwiftKey theme
By default, the Huawei smartphone uses a gray background color for the keyboard. You can change the design, which affects the background and keys of the keyboard layout. You'll have a choice of numerous colors and designs, such as color gradients.








- Open the settings
- Tap on System & updates
- Tap on Language & input
- Tap on SwiftKey Keyboard
- Tap on Themes
- Choose a Theme
- Tap on Download
- Follow the instructions on the display
Accented characters
You can display all available accents of a letter on the Huawei smartphone by tapping and holding the letter. If you want to display all available accents, you can set this in the keyboard settings.

Emoji access on enter key

Arrow keys

Dedicated emoji key

Number row

Keyboard layout
The keyboard on your Huawei smartphone masters various keyboard layouts that can be easily changed in the settings for each individual language. The following layouts can be changed for the keyboard:

Resize the keyboard
You can change the size of the on-screen keyboard on the Huawei smartphone. Here we can set any format that can be freely positioned.
Note: In this guide, we change the size of the keyboard and position it in the middle. The steps mentioned are only for illustration.

- Pull the horizontal borders up or down

Number position in number & symbols layout
If you switch to the number and symbol layout on the keyboard of the Huawei smartphone, the numbers are displayed in the top row by default. However, you can also display these as a numeric keypad and can determine whether they are right-justified or left-justified.
