Use location

You can completely (de-) activate general location access on your Huawei smartphone. Apps with permission to use the location of the device are also prevented from doing so if this function is deactivated.

Step 3: Activate or deactivate Access my location

Location scanning method

By default, the Huawei smartphone determines your location via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scan, even if these functions are deactivated. As soon as an app is authorized to determine the location, the functions mentioned are used to determine the most accurate data possible. We can individually switch the search via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on / off.

WiFi and Bluetooth location-positioning

In order to offer the best possible location determination, the Huawei smartphone uses WiFi and Bluetooth by default. This improved location positioning can be enabled or disabled independently of each other at any time.
