Data limit

You can set up a data limit on your Huawei device, to keep your monthly data usage in check. You can choose the starting date and you can set a data warning, which warns you if you are about to reach the limit.

Android 10 (EMUI 10.0)
Step 1: Open the settings
Step 2: Tap on Mobile network
Step 3: Tap on Data usage
Step 4: Tap on More data settings
Step 5: Tap on Monthly data limit
Step 6: Type in a data limit and confirm with OK
Step 7: Tap on Start date
Step 8: Set a start date and confirm with OK

Data warning

If you set up a maximum data limit, you can also set up a warning notification with which your Huawei device warns you if a certain percentage of data usage is reached. We can also set a daily warning if a certain ampunt is reached. 

After beeing over the limit, you can decide by yourself if your mobile data are to turn off.

Note: We suggest to set a limit for about 80% to have a little extra left.

Step 6: Push the bar to the left or right to set a limit and a reminder
