Alternate look

If we change our look, we can adjust the face recognition on the Huawei smartphone to maintain accurate recognition by simply registering a new look in the Face Recognition settings.

Note: Once an alternate look is added/registered, the option will disappear, meaning that no more alternative looks can be set or scanned.

Android 10 (EMUI 10.0)
Step 1: Open the Settings
Step 2: Tap on Biometrics & password
Step 3: Tap on  Face Recognition
Step 4: Tap on  Set an alternate look
Step 5: Tap on  Get started  and follow the instructions on screen

Delete facial data

If, for example, we want to disable face recognition or face scan on the Huawei smartphone, it is sufficient to delete the facial data. If
registered, the alternate appearance or look is also removed.

Step 2: Tap on Biometrics & password
Step 3: Tap on  Face Recognition
Step 4: Tap on  Delete facial data
Step 5: Enable or disable  raise to wake
Step 6: Confirm with  Delete

Remain on lock screen

We can choose whether the Huawei smartphone should remain on the lock screen after a successful scan or unlock the device directly; if we choose the first method, we have to swipe upwards to get to the home screen.

Step 5: Choose  Direct unlock , Slide to unlock or Off
