Change the region

The region is taken from the current network that the Huawei device is connected to. When dialing into a network on the other side of the world, the region is also automatically adjusted. It can also be changed manually on the Huawei smartphone.

Time format

The time format is used by default based on the language setting. If the time format is to be displayed regardless of the language, this can be changed in the settings of the Huawei smartphone. There you can choose between the 12-hour format or the 24-hour format (AM / PM) by deactivating the 24H format.

Set date & time automatically

By default, the time, date and time zone are automatically retrieved from the Huawei smartphone. Here, the device uses the network. The time as well as the date and time zone can also be adjusted manually. The automatic system must be deactivated beforehand.

Note: In this manual we only deactivate the automatic system and give the suggestion for changing the date and time. In another guide we cover the time zone.

Set time zone

The time zone is automatically selected by the Huawei smartphone. The device uses the data of the network in which it is located. If you want to change the time zone, the automatic search for date, time and network must be deactivated.

Set time

The time is automatically obtained from the network and set on the Huawei smartphone, if we want to set the time manually, the automatic must be disabled.

Set date
