Lock screen signature

You can set up a lock screen signature on your Huawei smartphone, which then will show whatever you type in on your Lock screen. By default, the name on your Huawei business card will be shown.

Step 1:  Open the  settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Home screen & wallpaper
Step 3:  Tap on  Lock screen signature
Step 4:  Type in a lock screen signature and confirm with  OK

Show step count

Your Huawei device is, depending on the model, able to count your steps with an integrated pedometer. If you want to see your counted steps on your lock screen, the function "Magazine" needs to be activated.

Display carrier name

As the title describes, you can decide whether the name of the carrier of the respective SIM card should be displayed on the Huawei smartphone or not.

Step 4:  Activate or deactivate  Display carrier name

Lock screen notifications

You can (de-) activate the notifications on the lock screen of your Huawei smartphone in general, for example, if you want to avoid prying eyes. You can also display the lock screen notifications, but hide the content.

Step 4:  Choose between  Show ,  Do not show , or  Show but hide contents

Wake screen for notifications

You can set whether the display of your Huawei smartphone should be activated when a message arrives.

Step 4:  Activate or deactivate  Wake screen

Smart cover

If you use the Huawei smartphone with a smart cover with a display window, date, time and other information is displayed when activated. You can also choose to show a step counter.

Dual clocks

If you change the time zone on your Huawei smartphone, a second clock is shown on the lock screen if the times differ. This function can be switched on / off and the time zone of the home city can be changed or selected.
