Huawei How to Set up Mobile Data & Roaming

With the mobile data function you can control data access over the mobile network. To use the internet outside of the Wi-Fi network, your mobile data need to be turned on. Also you need a correct APN to connect to the internet, although this will usually be configurated automatically. You can also deactivate mobile datas on your Huawei device. 

Note: You can also turn the mobile options over the quick settings over the notification bar.

If the Huawei device is connecting to a foreign or unknown network, there will be no data packet sent unless roaming is turned on. Only if roaming is activated, you can use the mobile data network of a foreign country, this can (and mostly will) lead to additional costs.

Note: In european countries you can use EU-Roaming and use your internet as if you were at home. We still recommend to talk to your carrier first.

If you are using the Huawei device with two SIM cards, you can set if both SIM cards should use 4G.
