LG How to Set up Data Warning and Limit
LG 521Table of contents
Change Data Usage Limit
The data limit is set at 5GB by default on the LG device and can be changed to any limit at any time. The change can be made by tapping, which changes the data limit in MB increments only. For faster but less accurate changes, the bar can be moved directly (as shown in the instructions).

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile data
- Tap and hold the orange bar
- Move the bar up or down to adjust the limit
Data Usage Limit
In addition to a data warning, the LG device also allows you to set a data limit, and if the set limit is reached, the mobile data is automatically deactivated.
Note: As LG device and mobile network operator calculate the mobile data differently (minimum), it is recommended to set the limit a few MB below the actual limit.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile data
- Enable or Disable Limit mobile data usage
Change Warning limit
The data warning warns us on the LG device as soon as a set limit is reached. This is only a message and not a deactivation of the mobile data. By default, the data warning is set at 2GB and can be adjusted individually, on the MB.
Note: The data warning cannot be turned off/disabled completely, a very high limit must be set to avoid a warning.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile data
- Tap and hold the red bar
- Drag the bar down or up to change the warning limit
Reset Data usage
The data usage is always reset to 0 MB on the LG device on the set reset day of the usage cycle. In addition to changing the reset day, the data usage, i.e. the statistics, can also be manually reset or deleted.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile data
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Reset data usage
- Confirm with Yes
