Create folder

App shortcuts can easily be organised into folders on the LG device. The LG user interface does not offer a direct function for creating a folder. To create a folder, two apps must be "connected" to each other.

Tip: You can also create apps in the fixed app bar above the navigation bar.

Rename folder

By default, new folders are simply named "Folder" on the LG's home screen, but you can change the name of the folder at any time.

Step 1: Open desired  Folder
Step 2: Tap on current Folder name
Step 3: Enter a new folder name and confirm with OK

Add apps

After creating a folder, apps can be added in the same way. As an alternative to tapping and holding, apps can also be added to the folder using the edit function. This is especially useful if several apps are to be moved to a folder at once.

Step 3: Select all desired apps
Step 4: Confirm with Done

Remove app

If adding multiple apps is hardly a problem, we have to remove apps from the folder one by one on the LG device, but it's not possible to edit a season.

Step 4: Confirm with Done

Remove folder

For LG devices, there is unfortunately no function to simply remove an entire folder from the home screen. The folder is then automatically deleted if there is only one app left in the folder. A quick removal, especially for folders with multiple apps, works through the folder's edit function.

After deleting the folder, all apps are reintegrated on the home screen.

Change folder color

Folders on the LG device's home screen have a white, slightly transparent background by default. The folder color can be adjusted to 11 other colors in the options. Unfortunately, you can't choose your own color for the LG.
