Check for software updates

By default, the LG smartphone automatically checks for new software updates, but you can also start a manual search for new updates.

Android 9 (LG UX 9.0)
Step 1: Open the Settings
Step 2: Tap on General
Step 3: Tap on Update center
Step 4: Tap on Software Update
Step 5: Tap on Check now for update

  5. Tap on Check now for update

Auto-Update

If an update has been found for the LG smartphone, it will be automatically downloaded from the factory. If the device is also not in use at midnight, the update will also be automatically installed overnight. If this is not desired, the auto installation can also be deactivated.
