LG How to Create and Restore Backup

Local backup
On the LG device you can create a backup which is saved locally on the internal memory or on the memory card. In addition to creating a backup manually, you can also create a daily backup automatically. The following data is saved in the backup:
- Start and lock screen
- Personal data (contacts, messages, call list, calendar etc.)
- Media files
- LG App data
- Downloaded Apps
- Settings












- Open the Settings
- Tap on General
- Tap on Backup
- Tap on Backup & restore
- Tap on Backup
- Tap on Back up to to change storage for backup
- Choose between Internal storage and SD card
- Enable or Disable desired data to backup
- Tap on Start
- Confirm with OK
- Tap on Later
- Tap on Done
Restore Backup
If a local backup was previously created on the LG smartphone, it can also be restored, and in addition to the entire backup, only parts of the backup, such as calendar and contacts, can be restored.
Note: After recovery, the LG smartphone must be restarted.










- Open the Settings
- Tap on General
- Tap on Backup
- Tap on Backup & restore
- Tap on Restore
- Choose desired Restore-file
- Select/Unselect desired files to restore
- Tap on Next
- Confirm with Restore
- Tap on Restart phone
Enable or Disable Google Backup
In addition to local backup, the LG smartphone also offers the option of automatically creating a backup in a cloud (Google Drive). The advantage here is that the backup can be accessed from any logged-in device. If the LG device is ever defective, the backup is also still available.







- Open the Settings
- Tap on General
- Tap on Backup
- Tap on Google backup
- Enable or Disable Back up to Google Drive
- Tap on Account
- Confirm with OK
