LG How to Set up "Do not Disturb"

If the "Do Not Disturb" mode is activated on the LG unit, by default no incoming calls are heard. The settings allow you to activate the "Repeated Calls" function. If the same caller calls again within 15 minutes, the second call is not set to silent and is therefore audible.

The "Do Not Disturb" mode has two different modes on the LG unit:

Only with priority

This will mute the LG device, except for priorities and the alarm clock.

Completely Silent

When this mode is selected, the device is completely muted, and in this mode, the LG device will not hear any alarm or exceptions.

With the "Do Not Disturb" mode, the LG device can be muted for a certain period of time (or permanently). Do Not Disturb" can be activated/deactivated either by schedule or by event (calendar) automatically. When the mode is activated, the LG device remains completely mute.

To receive calls, messages (SMS) or app notifications with sound despite this, exceptions (priorities) can also be added.

Thanks to the "Do Not Disturb" mode, the LG device can be muted during an appointment, provided that an appointment with start and end time is entered in the calendar. If a new appointment schedule is created in the "Do Not Disturb" mode of the LG device, the calendar can be accessed. Here you can select the calendars of the different accounts. The mode also allows you to choose whether the LG device should be muted for all, perhaps attended or participated appointments.

If the "Do Not Disturb" mode on the LG device is turned on according to a schedule, the alarm clock can automatically deactivate it even if the end of the mode is after the alarm time.

When "Do Not Disturb" mode is activated, all calls are muted on the LG unit. Call exceptions can be set under the priority. You can choose to allow all calls, from contacts or only from favourites. Calls from the selected group can be heard even if "Do Not Disturb" mode is activated on the LG unit.

Messages are acoustically suppressed when the "Do not disturb" mode is activated. If you still want to hear them, you can add an exception in the LG device settings. You can choose between Nobody, All, Contacts only or Favourites only.

By default, LG device mutes app notifications when in "Do Not Disturb" mode. App notifications are shown on the display but cannot be heard. In the settings, individual apps can be added to the exception. For example, you can hear WhatsApp notifications acoustically even when the mode is enabled.
