LG How to Set up Fingerprint

Fingerprint Setup
In order to unlock the LG device using fingerprint or to use other verification functions, a fingerprint must be added to the system. Any number of fingerprints can be added to the LG device, even from different people.
Android 9 (LG UX 9.0)
- Open the Settings
- Tap on General
- Tap on Lock screen & security
- Tap on Fingerprints
- Tap on Next
- Enter Password/PIN/Pattern
- Touch the fingerprint sensor with your desired finger
- Confirm with OK
Rename Fingerprint
By default, newly created fingerprints on the LG device are numbered "Finger 1", "Finger 2" etc. For better order and identification, the fingerprints can also be renamed.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on General
- Tap on Lock screen & security
- Tap on Fingerprints
- Enter Password/PIN/Pattern
- Tap on desired Fingerprint
- Enter name and tap on Save
Remove fingerprint
Fingerprints stored on the LG unit can be removed one at a time, and the current password/PIN/screen lock pattern is required to delete a print.

- Tap on General
- Tap on Lock screen & security
- Tap on Fingerprints
- Enter Password/PIN/Pattern
- Tap on Remove
- Confirm with Delete
