Data saver
On the LG device, mobile data is not only consumed during active use, but also in the background. With many installed apps, this can be several gigabytes. If apps do not need to be updated in the background, the data saving mode can be activated on the LG, which limits background activity.
For the data saver mode, selected apps can be added to the exception, which can still use the mobile data without restrictions despite the activated data saver mode.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile data
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Data saver
- Enable or Disable Data Saver
Data roaming
By default, mobile data on the LG smartphone can only be used in your own "home" network, but if we are in another network, or even abroad, data roaming must be activated so that the Internet can be used on the LG device.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile networks
- Tap on Data roaming
- Choose between Off, National only and All networks
Allow app while Data saver on
If the data saving mode is activated on the LG device, apps have only limited access to the mobile data.
Apps that should work without restrictions can be added/selected as an exception and the selected apps will still have full access to the mobile data even if the data saving mode is activated.
Note: Data saving mode must be enabled to add an exception.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Mobile data
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Data Saver
- Tap on Unrestricted data access
- Enable or Disable all desired Apps
Mobile data
The mobile data can also be used to access the Internet outside a WLAN network or tethering. In addition to an active SIM card, correctly set access points, the mobile data must of course also be activated.
Note: The mobile data can also be switched on or off using the quick settings.

- Open the Settings
- Enable or Disable Mobile data
