OnePlus How to Adjust Calendar Settings

When we start the calendar app on the OneOlus smartphone, we are shown a calendar overview of all added accounts by default.

To get an overview of a complete calendar month, the calendar view can be set at any time, for which we have the following options:

• Schedule overview
• Day
• 3 days
• Week
• month

In order not to miss any reminders for the appointments or events stored in the calendar app of the OnePlus smartphone, we can set a notification with sound and vibration at any time.

For this purpose, a pre-installed ringtone or a custom mp3 file can be selected and the vibration can be (de)activated independently.

Note: The sound and vibration settings are also applied to upcoming events such as birthdays.

In order not to confuse the stored reminders for appointments and events in the Calendar app on the OnePlus smartphone, we can assign an individual color to each appointment category of the different Google Accounts.

Note: This includes, for example, birthday reminders.

By default, the start of the week in the OnePlus smartphone's Calendar app is set based on the selected region.

For example, if you're traveling abroad for business, you can set the start or beginning of the week at any time, with the following options available to us

• Saturday
• Sunday
• Monday

The default calendar displayed on the OnePlus smartphone can be expanded by selecting an alternative calendar, for which we have the following options that can be activated with a tap of a finger:

• Chinese calendar - Simplified
• Chinese calendar - Traditional
• Hebrew calendar
• Hijri calendar - Civil
• Hijri calendar - Kuwaiti
• Hijri calendar - Saudi
• Indian calendar - Hindu (Saka)
• Korean calendar
• Persian calendar

If we have added a birthday to our saved contacts, we can view the data in the Calendar app on the OnePlus smartphone so we don't forget an appointment.

Depending on whether multiple Google Accounts are linked to the OnePlus device, we can turn on/off the display of birthdays for each account individually.

When setting an appointment or meeting, you are often confronted with the calendar week, which initially triggers a calculation task.

In order to have the calendar weeks always clearly visible and quickly accessible, we can (de)activate the display of the calendar weeks in the calendar app on the OnePlus smartphone at any time.

By default, all regional or national holidays are displayed in the calendar app of the OnePlus smartphone.

Depending on how many appointments or reminders are displayed for an account, the overview can quickly appear overloaded, which may lead to forgetting individual appointments or meetings.

In order to make the calendar view clearer, we can (de)activate the display of holidays at any time.

Declined events for meetings, for example, are hidden by default in the calendar app of the OnePlus smartphone.

However, to get an overview of past and rejected events, we can turn on/off to display them manually at any time.
