Set date and time automatically
The date and time are automatically obtained by the OnePlus smartphone from the provider network and require no further setting.
Note: If the date or time is to be set manually, the automatic function must be deactivated.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Date & time
- Enable Use network-provided time
12-/24-hour format
The time or hour format is automatically recognized and set by the OnePlus smartphone based on the selected region.
To keep the clock displayed in the usual style, the hourly format can also be selected manually by disablingthe 24-hour format function, giving you the choice between A.M. or P.M.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Date & time
- Enable or disable Use 24-hour-format
Time zone & region
The OnePlus smartphone automatically gets the time zone from the network.
If the time zone or region is to be changed afterwards, the automatic function must first be deactivated.
After selecting the desired region, the corresponding time zone is then set.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Date & time
- Disable Use network-provided time zone
- Tap on Time zone
- Tap on Region (country/region)
- Select a country or enter a name
- Chosse a suggestion
- Choose a time zone
Set date manually
The date is automatically obtained and set by the OnePlus smartphone from the network.
If the date is to be set manually for personal reasons, the automatic function must first be deactivated.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Date & time
- Disable Use network-provided time
- Tap on Date
- Set the date and tap OK
