OnePlus How to Enable or Disable Suggestions

Suggest contacts
In addition to the keyboard's word and emoji suggestions, we can also receive contact suggestions that are displayed on the OnePlus smartphone when forms are filled out, for example. This allows to automatically insert the appropriate information after tapping.
Note: The keyboard requires access to the device's stored contacts.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Languages & input
- Tap on Virtual keyboard
- Tap on Gboard
- Tap on Text correction
- Enable or disable Suggest Contacts
Show emoji suggestions
Similar to the word suggestions, we receive matching suggestions for emojis when a matching emoji is found for a word.
It is also sufficient to tap on the suggestion to insert it into the text already created on the OnePlus smartphone.
Depending on the user's wishes, the function can be turned on/off at any time.
- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Languages & input
- Tap on Virtual keyboard
- Tap on Gboard
- Tap on Text correction
- Enable or disable Show emoji suggestions
Show suggestions strip
For example, if we write WhatsApp messages or e-mails on the OnePlus smartphone, we are given suggestions for a suitable word as we type, and these suggestions are selected based on the letters already entered and the entire content.
A suggestion can be tapped in the suggestion bar to start sequentially with the next word, which allows fast typing on the virtual keyboard.
Note: If the suggestions for the next word are also enabled, a part of the text can already be typed without any input, as matching and related word suggestions are automatically displayed.
