OnePlus How to Set up Interaction Accessibility Features

Accessibility menu
We can activate the wizard menu or the menu for user assistance on the OnePlus smartphone by means of an additional button in the navigation bar.
The following functions are available in a larger view:

- Increase/decrease brightness

In addition, the view for large buttons can be activated in the options to facilitate the use of the smartphone.







- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Accessibility Menu
- Enable or disable Accessibility Menu
- Tap on Allow
- Confirm with Got it
Switch Access
People with disabilities can enable switch access on the OnePlus smartphone to operate the device using switches.
Compatible switches or devices can be connected via USB or Bluetooth, making it easier to select items, scroll, enter text and more.








- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Switch Access
- Enable or disable Switch Access
- Tap on Allow
- Choose USB switch or Bluetooth switch
- Tap on Next and follow the instructions on screen
Volume key shortcut to start accessibility feature
To get quick access to a feature of the OnePlus smartphone's accessibility features, we can activate a volume button shortcut and select one of the following functions:
- Color reversal
- Color Correction
- TalkBack
- Accessibility Menu
- Select to Speak
- Switch Access
- Screenshot
Once the function has been enabled and a shortcut has been selected, the desired operating aid can be started by pressing and holding the volume keys for 3 seconds.

- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Volume key shortcut
- Enable or disable Volume key shortcut
- Tap on Shortcut service
- Choose a Shortcut service
- Tap on Back
- Enable or disable Allow from lock screen
Dwell timing
If we use a USB or Bluetooth mouse on the OnePlus smartphone, we can activate an automatic click, which is automatically triggered after a defined period of pointer stop.
For the dwell time, a separate delay time can be set with the slider.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on System
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on Dwell timing
- Enable or disable Dwell timing
- Swipe left or right to set the delay before click
Touch & hold delay
In most cases, when an item or app icon on the OnePlus smartphone is touched and held, additional menu items appear in a pop-up window to perform specific actions or control options.
The response time of touching and holding an item on the screen can be set in the following three options to adjust the duration:
- Short
- Medium
- Long
