OnePlus How to Set up Lock Screen

When we receive a notification of, for example, a WhatsApp message, the OnePlus smartphone screen remains off by default.

If we want the display to be briefly activated when a notification is received, we can set this separately in the inactivity display settings.

If the standard clock on the lock screen of the OnePlus smartphone is too boring for you, you can always choose a different style for the displayed clock.

In addition to displaying analog or digital watches, some people bring a date display with them, which also informs us about the current day.

This feature allows the OnePlus smartphone's camera app to be launched quickly, whether we are on the startup/lock screen or in the settings of the device.

Note: If the camera is started by double pressing the power button on the lock screen, access to the latest photo or video recordings will be locked, preventing unauthorized or unauthorized access.

We can display our own signature or message on the lock screen of the OnePlus smartphone, which contains all kinds of information, such as the name of the owner or the e-mail address in case of loss.

The message is accessible or visible to everyone without having to enter the unlock method (PIN/password/pattern).

If the OnePlus smartphone is automatically locked by the set sleep mode countdown, by default the device will remain unlocked for 5 seconds with the display off, which means that the device could be accessed again without entering the unlock method (pattern/PIN/password).

In the lock screen settings, we can set the time until the automatic lock after the sleep mode comes into effect as follows:

If a screen lock with thePatternunlock method is activatedon theOnePlus smartphone, the track left behind is displayed visibly while entering or drawing the pattern.

This could lead to the pattern being spied out, which in turn could compromise the security of your own data, such as stored documents, contacts, photos or videos.

The visibility of the unlock pattern can be (de)activated at any time in order not to endanger privacy.

If the screen lock is enabled on the OnePlus smartphone, the device is locked immediately after pressing the power button, so if the device has been locked only briefly or unintentionally, it will be necessary to re-enter the unlock method.

This function can be deactivated if a permanent unlocking by Smart Lock takes place.

We can enable an option to lock the OnePlus smartphone immediately, which is displayed in the power on/off menu and disables all automatic unlock features via Face Unlock, Fingerprint Scan or Smart Lock to instantly back up the device and its data.

In order to unlock the smartphone again after activating this function, the respective unlocking method (pattern/PIN/password) must be entered manually.
