Touch vibration
When we touch choices, menu items or options, or the navigation buttons on the OnePlus smartphone, we receive a short vibration as a haptic feedback to confirm the selected input.
The vibration of these system elements can be (de)activated on the device at any time if desired.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Enable or disable Touch vibration
Vibration for incoming calls
When we receive a call on the OnePlus smartphone, we receive by default not only an acoustic signal in the form of the ring tone, but also a haptic indication of the vibration if we are in a noisy environment.
Anyone who wants to deactivate this vibration when a call comes in or because the device is mainly within hearing range can (de)activate it at any time as desired.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Tap on Phone ringtone and vibration
- Enable or disable Vibrate for calls
Vibration pattern and intensity (calls)
The OnePlus smartphone comes with a feature that allows us to set the vibration pattern and its strength for incoming calls.
The following options are available for the vibration pattern, although it may seem rather amusing when written out in full:
- Dynamic
- dzzz-dzzz
- dzzz-da
- mm-mm-mm
- da-da-dzzz
- da-dzzz-da
The vibration intensity can be set in the following three levels:
- Light
- Medium
- Strong
Note: The vibration pattern and vibration intensity can be adjusted independently.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds & vibration
- Tap on Phone ringtone and vibration
- Tap on Vibration pattern and intensity
- Set the vibration pattern
- Set the vibration intensity
