Enable or Disable Always on Display
Oppo smartphones with an OLED display have an Always On Display function.
The Always on Display permanently or scheduled shows the time, date, battery charge level and from ColorOS 7 (Android 10) also notifications.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display & brightness
- Tap on Always-On Display
- Enable or Disable Always-On Display
Customize Clock Style
The clock on the Always on Display can be changed on the Oppo smartphone from version ColorOS 7 (Android 10) onwards. In addition to digital clocks, the settings also offer analogue clocks in various styles and colours.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display & brightness
- Tap on Always-On Display
- Tap on Clock style
- Choose desired Clock style
- Tap on Apply
Schedule Always-on display
With ColorOS 7 Oppo offers the possibility to display the Always on Display according to a schedule, which was not possible with older ColorOS versions until now.
If the schedule is used, the Always on Display (AoD) is only displayed at the specified time.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display & brightness
- Tap on Always-On Display
- Enable or Disable Schedule time
Notifications
In addition to the time, charge status and date, the Always on display of the Oppo smartphone also shows notifications, but unlike the lock screen, only the icons of the respective app are displayed.
If notifications on the Always on Display are not desired, the "Pure Screen Off" mode can be activated, in which only the clock is shown and all other information is hidden.
