Enable or Disable Google Backup
If you prefer to make a backup via a cloud like Google Drive, you can enable this in the Oppo smartphone settings.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Back up and reset
- Enable or Disable Back up my data
Change Google Backup account
After activating Google Backup, you will also need to choose a backup account where the backup will be backed up, but even after that, the Google backup account can be changed at any time.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Back up and reset
- Tap on Backup accounts
- Choose desired Account or tap on Add account
Local backup
In addition to an online backup, a local backup can also be created under ColorOS. This can be saved on the internal memory as well as on the memory card of the Oppo smartphone. The following data can be backed up:
- Contacts
- News
- Call list
- System data
- Apps (without data)

- Tap on New backup
- Select data you want and tap on Start
- Choose between Back up to phone storage and Back up to external storage
- Confirm with Back up
- Confirm with Done
Restore Backup
Local backups can be easily restored to the Oppo Smartphone via the settings, and individual data can also be restored from the backup.
