Camera frame
The photo format also affects the resolution of the photos. on the Oppo smartphone, the format can be changed between 1:1, 4:3, 16:9 and Full. how high the resolution of the photos is then depends on the model.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Frame
Storage location
If the Oppo-Smartphone has a slot for memory cards, we can instruct the camera to store preferably on the external micoSD card.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Settings
- Enable or Disable Save to SD Card Preferred
- Confirm with Turn On
Change video resolution
Depending on the model, the Oppo smartphones offer us different video resolutions: if HD and FullHD videos are already standard, some models can also record 4K or even 8K videos.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Video Resolution
- Choose desired Resolution
Geotagging
If you want to know where the photos were taken later, you can activate the location for photos. when you take the photo, the location is simultaneously retrieved and saved in the photo's meta data. geotagging can be activated or deactivated in the camera settings directly in the app.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Settings
- Enable or Disable Location
Grid lines
The grid (grid) helps us when taking pictures with the camera of the Oppo smartphone, and the lines allow us to orientate ourselves better to the horizon, for example when taking landscape shots.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Settings
- Enable or Disable Grid
HDR
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and in smartphone photography creates several images with different exposures one after the other. The individual photos are superimposed on top of each other and software compiles them into one photo and optimizes them in individual areas. HDR is a good choice especially for landscape photography.
On the Oppo-Smartphone HDR can be switched on or off, or alternatively there is an automatic function that decides when an HDR-photo should be taken.

- Open the Camera-App
- Tap on HDR
- Choose between Off, On and Auto
Mirror Effect
By default, photos are taken with the front camera mirrored, which means that the photo is actually mirrored. If this is not desired, we can activate the "Flip Selfie" function, which will take the photos as they are, i.e. not mirrored.
Note: When the function is activated, the photo will still be mirrored in the viewfinder, but will be saved correctly.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Settings
- Enable or Disable Flip Selfie
Watermark
On created photos we can display a watermark, whereby ColorOS does not offer us many possibilities here. As watermark, the phone model can be determined, as the date and time as well as the location. If the watermark is activated for the model, we have the possibility to determine an own stroke with up to 20 characters.
Unfortunately we have no influence on the position, color, transparency or other parameters.

- Open the Camera-App
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Settings
- Tap on Watermark
- Enable or Disable Phone model, Date & Time, Location
