Adjust the Edge panel handle
Starting with ColorOS 7 the Intelligent Sidebar (formerly Smart Sidebar) offers the possibility to set the transparency of the bar.
Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Convenience tools
- Tap on Smart Sidebar
- Move Slider to adjust the Floating Bar Opacity
Manage Edge Panels
Via the smart sidebar of the Oppo smartphone we can link three different types of apps.
- Quick Tools: Tools like screenshots, screen recording etc.
- Quick Apps: Apps that open in a floating window to write a message and watch a video on the side.
- App shortcuts: Simple shortcuts of apps as you are used to on the start screen.
Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
- Open the Smart Sidebar
- Tap on Edit
- Tap on Add the respective desired app/function
- Confirm with Done
Enable or Disable Smart Sidebar
The Smart Sidebar (still called Smart Sidebar under ColorOS 6) is a sidebar that can be opened by simply wiping from the right side of the screen. In the Smart Sidebar of the Oppo-Smartphone you can select app shortcuts, quick tools (screenshot, screenshot etc.) and quick apps (floating apps).
By default, the Smart Sidebar is disabled on the Oppo device and can be enabled in the settings for Convenience Tools. Unfortunately, ColorOS does not currently offer any other options for personalization.
