Share contacts

On the Oppo smartphone we can share contacts as a text file or as a vCard file with other parts, and the created file can then be shared via SMS message, Bluetooth, Messenger or any app.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Tap on  Contact  you want
Step 3:  Open the  Menu
Step 4:  Tap on  Share Contact
Step 5:  Choose between  Share as Text  and  Share as vCard
Step 6:  Choose a  method  to share the contact

  4. Tap on Share Contact
  5. Choose between Share as Text and Share as vCard
  6. Choose a method to share the contact

Merge duplicate contacts

Duplicate contacts can be merged for the sake of clarity, and if duplicate names, phone numbers, or other similar information are found, the merging of duplicate contacts can be done automatically.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  Settings
Step 4:  Tap on  Merge duplicate contacts
Step 5:  Select  contacts  you want and tap on  Merge
Step 6:  Tap on  Done

  4. Tap on Merge duplicate contacts
  5. Select contacts you want and tap on Merge
  6. Tap on Done

Export Contacts

ColorOS allows its users to export contacts only to the Oppo smartphone's memory, creating a vCard file containing all the information of the contacts, leaving us the choice from which accounts to export the contacts.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  Settings
Step 4:  Tap on  Import/export contacts
Step 5:  Tap on  Export to storage devices
Step 6:  Choose between  All contacts  and an  Account
Step 7:  Enter a  Name  and confirm with  Export
Step 8:  Tap on  Save

  3. Tap on Settings
  4. Tap on Import/export contacts
  5. Tap on Export to storage devices
  6. Choose between All contacts and an Account
  7. Enter a Name and confirm with Export
  8. Tap on Save

Import Contacts

On the Oppo smartphone, contacts can only be imported directly from another smartphone (via Bluetooth) or from a vCard file on the memory. In addition, there are no other options such as selecting individual contacts in the file, so only the entire file can be imported.

Step 1:  Open the  Contacts -App

Step 4:  Tap on  Import/export contacts
Step 5:  Choose between  Import from storage  and  Import from another phone
Step 6:  Select an destination  Account
Step 7:  Choose desired  File
Step 8:  Choose between  Cancel  and  Merge

  3. Tap on Settings
  4. Tap on Import/export contacts
  5. Choose between Import from storage and Import from another phone
  6. Select an destination Account
  7. Choose desired File
  8. Choose between Cancel and Merge
