Enable TalkBack
TalkBack is a screen reading program that converts text to speech, enabling visually impaired people to interact with an Android smartphone.
To help you find your way around while using it, TalkBack adjusts the controls a little. A single tap selects the text and reads it out. A double tap then registers the "single" tap, which opens the app, for example.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on Additional settings
- Tap on Accessibility
- Tap on TalkBack
- Enable TalkBack
- Confirm with OK
Disable TalkBack
Once TalkBack is activated on the Oppo-Smartphone, it can only be deactivated again with a slightly different control. A single tap selects the corresponding function/App (green border). A double tap then executes the action.

- Adjust the Voice output
TalkBack navigation
TalkBack changes the control of the Oppo-Smartphone. A single tap marks the selected item. A double tap executes the desired function.
TalkBack's settings offer many more control options, including fingerprint sensor control, touch gestures, key combinations and much more.

Speak passwords
By default, TalkBack pronounces passwords, so anyone in the vicinity can listen in on the password. If desired, the pronunciation of passwords can be deactivated on the Oppo Smartphone.

TalkBack Feedback
TalkBack offers feedback on the Oppo-Smartphone in the form of vibration and sound, which is activated by default, but if you don't want the feedback when you type, you can deactivate it in the settings.
