Force Close an App
On the Oppo-Smartphone there is the function "Force stop", which should only be used if the app does not react anymore, i.e. hangs up. "Force stop" stops the app like you know it on a Windows PC with "Stop task".
One of the problems with this function is that the app can no longer save all data before exiting. It is therefore possible that certain data is not saved or is saved incorrectly. It is also possible that the app will not work at all after exiting (which is rare).

- Open the Settings
- Tap on App management
- Tap on App list
- Tap on App you want
- Tap on Force stop
- Confirm with Force stop
Download Apps over Wi-Fi only
If you want to install new apps from the Google Play Store on your Oppo smartphone, by default the download is only possible via WLAN. If you wish, apps can also be downloaded via the mobile data. A query before each download is also possible, but must be defined in the Play Store settings.

- Open the Google Play Store
- Open the Menu
- Open the Settings
- Tap on App download preference
- Choose between Over any network, Over Wi-Fi only and Ask me every time
Automatic App Updates
Apps are automatically downloaded and installed on the Oppo smartphone as long as there is a connection to the WLAN. The automatic app updates can also be carried out via the mobile network if desired. There is also an option to disable automatic app updates completely.

- Open the Google Play Store
- Open the Menu
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Auto-update apps
- Choose between Over any network, Over Wi-Fi only and Don´t auto-update apps
- Confirm with Done
