Data saver
With the data saving mode, apps running in the background cannot access the mobile data. apps running in the foreground can be affected by the data saving mode. the data saving mode can be switched on or off on the Oppo-Smartphone in the settings for mobile data and network.
Furthermore, the data saving mode also allows to set an exception to allow apps unlimited access.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Tap on Data usage
- Tap on Data Saving
- Enable or Disable Data Saving
- Confirm with On
Allow app while Data saver on
If the data saving mode is activated on the Oppo smartphone, apps have limited access to the mobile Internet, and exceptions can be created for the data saving mode, giving apps unlimited data access.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Tap on Data usage
- Tap on Data Saving
- Tap on Apps With Unlimited Data Usage
- Enable or Disable desired App
Data roaming
If we are outside our home network, we must activate data roaming to use mobile data, and roaming must be activated to use the Oppo smartphone abroad.
Please note: This may incur additional costs, especially outside the EU!




- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Choose desired SIM card
- Enable or Disable Data roaming
Mobile data
The Oppo smartphone can access the Internet in many ways. If you have an appropriate tariff, you can use the mobile data. Internet access is via the mobile network. Mobile data can be activated or deactivated on the Oppo device.
Note: A valid access point must be available to use mobile data.
Note 2: The mobile data can also be switched on or off using the quick settings.



- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Enable or Disable Mobile Data
Network Permission for Apps
On the Oppo smartphone, apps can use mobile data or WLAN as standard. If desired, the Oppo device can be set up so that selected apps only have access to the WLAN, mobile data or no network at all. If, for example, there is no WLAN in range, the apps concerned cannot access the Internet via the mobile data.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on SIM card & mobile data
- Tap on Data usage
- Tap on Network Permissions
- Choose desired App
- Choose between Wi-Fi & Mobile Data, Wi-Fi, Mobile Data and Disable Network
