Factory reset

When the Oppo Smartphone is reset to factory settings, all data is deleted from the device, including apps, accounts, settings, files and all other data stored on the device.

Only software updates are not affected by the reset to factory settings.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Additional settings
Step 3:  Tap on  Back up and reset
Step 4:  Tap on  Erase all data (factory reset)
Step 5:  Tap on  Erase all data
Step 6:  Enter your  Password/PIN/Pattern
Step 7:  Tap on  Erase data
Step 8:  Confirm with  Erase data
  1. Open the Settings

  3. Tap on Back up and reset
  4. Tap on Erase all data (factory reset)
  5. Tap on Erase all data
  6. Enter your Password/PIN/Pattern
  7. Tap on Erase data
  8. Confirm with Erase data

Reset app preferences

In addition to the system settings and the factory settings, the app settings can also be reset, removing all downloaded apps and the associated data from the Oppo Smartphone.

Data from apps that were already present when the phone was first set up (gallery, camera, calendar, etc.) remain unaffected.

Step 1:  Open the  Settings
Step 2:  Tap on  Additional settings
Step 3:  Tap on  Back up and reset
Step 4:  Tap on  Erase all data (factory reset)
Step 5:  Tap on  Erase downloaded apps and their data
Step 6:  Enter your  Password/PIN/Pattern
Step 7:  Tap on  Erase data
Step 8:  Confirm with  Erase data

Reset settings

When the system settings on the Oppo Smartphone are reset, no data is deleted, only the settings from the device itself, including the network settings (including WLAN passwords, etc.), the wallpaper and the ring tones.

Reset camera settings

The camera settings can be reset quickly and easily with a single function, which resets all changes made to the original settings.

Android 10 (ColorOS 7.0)
Step 1:  Open the  Camera -App
Step 2:  Open the  Menu
Step 3:  Tap on  Settings
Step 4:  Tap on  Restore to Defaults
Step 5:  Confirm with  Restore to Defaults
