Oppo How to Set up Screen Lock

If we no longer want to use screen locking, this can be deactivated on the Oppo smartphone without any problems, for which the unlock password that is still valid is required.

If the screen lock was deactivated, the screen must be activated by swipe.

The screen lock protects the Oppo Smartphone from access by unauthorized persons, preventing both operation and access to the memory data.

ColorOS offers unlock methods such as the pattern, PIN or password, depending on the equipment. To be able to select these modes, the option "Other encryption modes" must be selected. Only then do the other unlock methods become visible.

Note: The screen lock does not protect the SIM card; in case of loss, the SIM card can be used if no SIM lock is activated.

In addition to the unlock methods PIN, password and pattern, the Oppo smartphone can also be unlocked with a fingerprint. It can only be unlocked with the fingerprint sensor if an unlock method is set up. The fingerprint can also be used to recover a forgotten lock screen password.
