Is there a way to pot most often used contacts on home screen?

Hello fm_96. On Android it is possible to add a contact to the home screen using the widget:
- Tap and hold a free Area on Home screen
- Tap on Widgets
- Tap and hold the Contact-Widget
- Drag the widget to the desired position
- Choose desired Contact
It would work but there is no contact widget available in oukitel wp5 phone. Does it mean that I have to download the widget ? If yes which one is the best ?
No, the widgets are from the default Contacts app. Did you install the Google Contacts app as per the following instructions? Also, try these steps right away:
- Open the Contact-App
- Choose the desired contact
- Open the Menu
- Tap on Add to Home screen
- Tap on Add automatically
The problem is that I don't have an option "Add to Home screen" in "Contacts" menu, otherwise I would have done it already.
Then Oukitel will have removed it from your device, for whatever reason. Check the Play Store, there are some widgets (apps) that can fix the problem.
That is what I guessed. I tried several applications and widgets from Play Store and none of them solved my problem. Can you recommend any ? I can live without my most often used contacts on "Home Screen". I created several groups of contacts I can use. But it is such a basic thing which should be available on any phone. I had it on my old phone which used Android 7. Thanks for your help.
