Connect to a Wi-Fi network
In order to use the Internet on a Samsung device or to access data from other devices, a WLAN connection must be established. Usually, only the WLAN password is required for a connection. When setting up the WLAN connection, Samsung devices can also determine whether the device should automatically reconnect when it is within range.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Choose the network you want
- Enter the password and tap on Connect
Connect Wi-Fi using QR Code
With the Samsung device, we can't just share the WLAN connection, we can establish the connection ourselves using QR code. To do this, the other device must share the connection. With the camera (or QR code scanner), we can scan the QR code and establish a WLAN connection directly without having to enter the password.

- Open the Camera-App
- Scan QR-Code
- Tap on Connect
Add WLAN manually
If a WLAN network is not visible, it must be added manually, using the SSID (access name of the router) and, if necessary, the password.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Tap on Add network
- Enter all required data and tap on Save
Auto Reconnect
the Samsung device automatically connects to previously saved wireless networks. if automatic connection is not desired, it can be disabled in the respective wireless connection settings. as a result, you need to tap on the found wireless network to establish a connection. if the wireless network is out of range, the connection is disconnected and you need to manually connect again.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the settings of the desired connection
- Enable or disable Auto reconnect
Hotspot 2.0 Wi-Fi network
