Show Frequently contacted
in the contact overview we find besides the usual list of contacts also the favorites as well as your own profile (share your profile). additionally we can display a list that shows us the "frequently contacted contacts". as basis we always use the last 30 days in which the contact was called or a message was written.




- Open the Contacts-App
- Open the menu
- Open the Settings
- Enable or disable Show Frequently contacted
Sort contacts
By default, contacts on your Samsung device are sorted by first name, but you can also sort contacts by last name.





- Open the Contacts-App
- Open the menu
- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sort by
- Choose between First name and Last name
Default Storage Location
By default, the Samsung device asks where to save a new contact each time you create one. You can choose to select the location as the default location or always be asked first. Once the default location is set, it can be changed in the contacts settings.





- Open the Contacts-App
- Open the menu
- Tap on Manage contacts
- Tap on Default storage location
- Choose desired storage location
Contacts to Display
By default, the Contacts app on the Samsung device displays contacts from all accounts, and the displayed contact list can be filtered so that we can display single or multiple accounts. In addition to accounts like Google and Samsung, you can also view contacts stored on the SIM card or phone memory.




- Open the Contacts-App
- Open the menu
- Tap on All contacts
- Choose desired Source/Account
Name format
By default, contacts on the Samsung device are displayed with First Name, Last Name, but regardless of the sorting, we can change the name format to Last Name, First Name.
