Samsung Galaxy A50 WhatsApp location sharing
When sharing location via Google maps with contacts through WhatsApp it only enables whilst WhatsApp app open. When phone in sleep mode unable to share. I have been onto settings on device and go to WhatsApp permission its permanently set on "location on whilst app in use"...there are no options to allow permission permanently...only other option is "Deny"?

Hello KJF20. The problem is due to Android 10, which has a stricter location control. WhatsApp unfortunately no longer has permission to query the location permanently.
the "live location" should still work, but the app must not be closed completely. is the battery optimization for WhatsApp already deactivated? is the energy saving mode activated? is the app allowed to run in the background?
