Add email account
On the Samsung device, several e-mail accounts can be added via POP3/IMAP. Gmail is used as a collective app for all e-mail accounts, allowing e-mail addresses from T-Online, Web.de, GMX.de and many other providers to be managed under one app.
Note: This tutorial shows how to add a Web.de email address using POP3. To be able to receive and send emails from Web.de, this must be enabled in the Web.de settings (on the website). This security policy differs depending on the provider.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Accounts and backup
- Tap on Accounts
- Tap on Add account
- Choose between Exchange, Personal (IMAP) and Personal (POP3)
Auto sync data
Accounts added on the Samsung device will be synchronized automatically. The data may vary depending on the account. If you do not want accounts to be synchronized automatically, you can disable this in the settings. In this case, the data will not be updated until the application is opened.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Accounts and backup
- Tap on Accounts
- Enable or disable Auto sync data
- Confirm with OK
Remove account
all logged-in/added accounts (also from apps) are collected in one place on the Samsung device. here we can control the synchronization of the data, but we can also remove the respective account. for example, if the account is removed from facebook, we are only logged out of the app. the account remains on facebook.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Accounts and backup
- Tap on Accounts
- Tap on desired Account
- Tap on Remove account
- Confirm with Remove account
