Forget a Wi-Fi Connection
Stored wireless networks that are no longer needed should be removed/deleted from the Samsung device; when wireless is turned on, the Samsung smartphone or tablet will constantly search for stored available wireless connections.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the menu
- Tap on Advanced
- Tap on Manage networks
- Choose the network you want
- Tap on Forget
Detect suspicious networks
Samsung has built a feature into its devices with One UI that notifies about suspicious WLAN networks, and if suspicious requests or redirections are detected by the Samsung device, a notification will appear.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the menu
- Tap on Advanced
- Enable or disable Detect suspicious networks
Share Wi-Fi Connection
A stored wireless LAN connection can be shared on the Samsung device using a QR code, which eliminates the need to enter the wireless LAN password. The device to be connected to the network must have a QR code scanner installed and be able to support the function.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the Connection you want
- Tap on QR-Code
- Scan the QR Code with another device
Switch to mobile data
If the quality of the Wi-Fi network is poor, the Samsung device can automatically disable Wi-Fi and use mobile data by enabling the "Switch to mobile data" option in the advanced settings.
If the Samsung device has automatically switched to mobile data, the network quality is checked at regular intervals. In this case, the WLAN menu will display the message "Ready to connect when network quality improves". If this is the case, the Samsung device will automatically reactivate WLAN and connect to the stored network within range.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the menu
- Tap on Advanced
- Enable or disable Switch to mobile data
Proxy Server
A proxy can be set up on the Samsung device, which redirects the WLAN Internet connection via the set proxy server. To set up a proxy, at least the proxy host name and proxy port are required. Optionally, the user name and password for the connection are also required.
On the Samsung device you can also specify web pages to bypass the proxy, which will then establish a direct connection to the web page.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Connections
- Tap on Wi-Fi
- Open the settings of desired connection
- Tap on Advanced
- Tap on Proxy
- Choose between None, Manual and Auto-config
- Enter the required data and confirm with Save
