Set schedule for night mode
Night mode on Samsung devices can also be automatically switched on or off using a schedule, and in addition to a user-defined schedule with a fixed time, night mode can also be switched on from sunset to sunrise.




- Open the Settings
- Tap on Display
- Tap on Night mode
- Enable or disable Turn on as scheduled
Turn on/off Do Not Disturb
The "Do Not Disturb" mode mutes all calls and signals on the Samsung device. The "Do Not Disturb" mode can be turned on/off manually or according to a schedule. Exceptions such as the alarm clock, calls and messages from specific contacts or media can also be allowed.
Note: The "Do Not Disturb" mode can also be switched on/off via the quick settings.



- Open the Settings
- Tap on Notifications
- Enable or disable Do not disturb
Repeat Callers
If the Do Not Disturb mode is activated on the Samsung device, calls are automatically muted, but the mode can be set to allow repeated callers. If a caller calls the same number again within 15 minutes, the call is acoustically allowed.

- Tap on Do not disturb
- Tap on Allow exceptions
- Enable or disable Repeat callers
Hide notifications
if the "do not disturb" mode is activated, notifications are displayed optically, not acoustically (except exceptions) by default. the settings of the "do not disturb" mode allow you to partially or completely switch off the notifications on your Samsung device. if notifications are hidden in "do not disturb" mode, they will be displayed afterwards as soon as the mode is switched off.

- Tap on Hide notifications
- Enable or disable desired Notifications
Add an App to Exception
To add apps as an exception to the "Do Not Disturb" mode, this has to be done directly in the notification settings of the app, where you can find the option "Do Not Disturb" ignored, which makes the app work without any restrictions by the mode, so apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger or others can send notifications, calls or messages as usual.






- Open the Settings
- Tap on Apps
- Tap on desired App
- Tap on Notifications
- Tap on a Notification Group
- Enable or disable Ignore Do not disturb
Allow calls
By default, all calls are muted in the Do Not Disturb mode of the Samsung device. If you still want to receive calls, you can allow this in the settings. In addition to all calls, only those that are saved as contacts or even marked as favourites can be allowed.
Available options:
- All
- Contacts only
- Favourite contacts only
- None

- Tap on Allow exceptions
- Tap on Calls from
- Choose between All, Contacts only, Favourite contacts only and None
Set Exception
if the "Do not disturb" mode is activated on the Samsung device, exceptions such as alarms (alarm clock) and media are already allowed by default. calls, messages (SMS), reminders and other options are blocked for the time being. in the settings of the "Do not disturb" mode, the mentioned exceptions can be added. for calls and messages, there is also the possibility to allow the exception only for (preferred) contacts.
The following exceptions may be established:

- Media sound
- Touch sounds
- Calendar events
- Reminders

- Enable or disable desired Exception
Allow messages
If the Do Not Disturb mode is activated on the Samsung device, no new messages, i.e. SMS and MMS, will be displayed by default. In the exceptions, we can specify that incoming messages are allowed. Here we have the choice of All, Contacts only or Preferred contacts only (Favourites).
