Samsung 5482Table of contents
Camera Shutter Sound
The camera shutter sound is played after the shutter is released. Unfortunately, with the newer Samsung devices, it is not possible to directly deactivate the camera sound / release sound. To prevent the camera sound from being heard, the system volume must be set to Silent.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds and vibration
- Tap on Volume
- Move the slider to the far left
Dialing Keypad Tone
When you enter a phone number on the keypad, the Samsung device plays the dial key tones, which can be turned on or off in the settings under System Tones.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds and vibration
- Tap on System sound
- Enable or disable Dialing keypad
Touch Sound
The touch sound is played when certain items on the screen are touched on the Samsung device, but since the touch tone is a system tone, it cannot be changed on Samsung devices.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds and vibration
- Tap on System sound
- Enable or disable Touch interactions
Keyboard sound
When typing on the Samsung keyboard, the keypad tones are played, and the keypad tone can be turned on or off in both the System Tones settings and the Samsung keyboard settings.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds and vibration
- Tap on System sound
- Enable or disable Samsung Keyboard
Charging Sound
When the charging cable is connected to the Samsung device and the charging process is started/ended, the charging sound is heard, which can be switched on or off in the settings under System sounds. The sound itself cannot be changed.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds and vibration
- Tap on System sound
- Enable or disable Charging
Screen lock/unlock Sound
If a lock screen is set up, a sound is emitted when the screen is locked or unlocked; this sound can be turned on/off in the System Sound settings, but cannot be changed.

- Open the Settings
- Tap on Sounds and vibration
- Tap on System sound
- Enable or disable Screen lock/unlock
Screenshot Sound
On Samsung devices with at least Android 9 (One UI) it is unfortunately not possible to directly disable the sound on screenshot, but to turn off the sound, the system sounds must be set to Silent.
