Remove Animations

If the Samsung device is sensitive to animations, these can be removed or deactivated.

Step 4:  Enable or disable  Remove animations

Colour Correction

On the Samsung device, we can activate a colour correction to adjust the display for people with visual impairments, for which the following corrections are available:

  • Deuterine anomaly (red-green vision loss)
  • Protanomaly (red-green vision loss)
  • Tritanomaly (blue-money visual impairment)

Note: This is an experimental feature that may affect the performance of the Samsung device.

Colour Inversion

"Colour inversion" reverses all colours on the Samsung device, white becomes black, green becomes light blue, etc. In addition to the system, it also reverses the colours of media (photos, videos, etc.).

Magnification

On the Samsung device, you can zoom in on the contents of the screen thanks to the user aids. There are two different methods for zooming in:

Triple tap screen to magnify

If this method is activated, the screen must be tapped three times in quick succession. Then the contents are enlarged. To change the zoom level, use two or more fingers to pull together or apart.

Use shortcut to magnify

The second option is to display a button in the navigation bar. When the button is tapped to zoom in, the screen is outlined in orange. Two or more fingers can be used to zoom in on the content.

Note: Magnification does not work on the keyboard or navigation bar.

High Contrast Keyboard

For a better visibility of the keyboard, we can choose a audible contrast. besides the color, the size of the keyboard is also changed. depending on the Samsung model, different designs are available for a high-contrast keyboard.

Large mouse pointer

If accessories such as a touchpad or a computer mouse are connected to the Samsung device, the pointer can be enlarged.

Magnifier window

Unlike the magnification function, the Magnifier window magnifies only a section of the screen and offers several settings such as magnification level, focus lock, or follow the typing focus.

To move the Magnifier window on the Samsung device, two fingers must be used.

High contrast Fonts

To increase the visibility of the text on the Samsung device, we can activate the "High contrast fonts" function, which adjusts the colours and outline of the fonts to make them stand out.
