Add alarm widget to home screen
a single added alarm clock can be added to the home screen as a widget. this alarm clock widget allows you to turn the alarm on/off and edit it. you can add as many alarm clock widgets with different alarms as you like on the home screen.
- Tap and hold a empty area on home screen
- Tap on Widgets
- Open the "Clock" folder
- Tap and hold the alarm widget
- Drag the widget to position you want
- Select alarm you want
- Adjust the options and tap Back
- Drag the blue points to adjust the size
- Tap on an empty area
Add widget
Smartphones and tablets with Samsung's One UI user interface come with some pre-installed widgets such as the radio, time or weather. Depending on the apps installed, other widgets may also be available. Widgets can be added quickly and easily on the home screen of any Samsung device.
- Tap and hold an empty area on home screen
- Tap on Widgets
- Tap and hold a Widget you want
- Drag the Widget to desired position
- If available, adjust the options of the widget
- Tap on Back
- Drag the blue dots to adjust the size of the widget
- Tap outside the widget
Move widget
Widgets that have already been placed or that you have placed yourself on the start screen of the Samsung device can be moved at any time.
- Tap and hold the Widget you want
- Drag the Widget to desired position
- Tap outside the widget
Resize a widget
Some widgets can be resized on the Samsung device, allowing you to minimise/maximise content or change the font size depending on the widget.
Note: The size of the widget is also based on the grid size of the home screen.
- Tap and hold the Widget you want
- Drag the blue dots to adjust the size of the widget
- Tap outside the widget
Remove Widget
Placed widgets can also be removed from the home screen of any Samsung smartphone or tablet, and will not be permanently deleted but only removed from the screen.
- Tap and hold the Widget you want
- Tap on Remove from Home
Remove Google Search Bar
The Samsung device comes with the Google search bar from the home screen, which can be used to perform a direct search query via the browser or to use Google Assistant. Google search can be added or removed from Samsung like a normal widget.

- Tap on Remove from Home
