Xiaomi How to Adjust Calendar Settings

By default, the start of the week is set according to the region set on the Xiaomi smartphone, but this can be changed if desired, allowing us to choose whether the week starts on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday, which will also adjust the calendar view accordingly.

When a new appointment or event is created in the Xiaomi smartphone's Calendar app, the device automatically selects the default reminder time. If we don't want to have to change it each time, we can set it in the preferences. The following options are available:

• 5 minutes before
• 15 minutes before
• 30 minutes before
• 1 hour before
• 4 hours before
• 1 day before
• 2 days before
• 1 week before

In order not to miss any appointments, such as birthdays, we can activate alarm or notification reminders for calendar appointments on the Xiaomi smartphone. This can be individually set to remind us with sound and vibration, and the ring tone can also be set.

By default, all linked accounts of the Calendar app are displayed on the Xiaomi smartphone, but if we want to change this, for example to separate work from private life, we can show or hide each account individually.

If we want to add more accounts to the calendar app on the Xiaomi smartphone to synchronize all appointments and events, we can find the corresponding button under the menu item "Calendar Accounts", where we can choose whether to add a Google Account or an Exchange Account.
