Xiaomi How to Set up Always on Display

The Always-on display (AoD) on Xiaomi smartphones is an always-on screen that shows us status information such as the time, battery level, or notifications, even when the device is in standby or sleep mode.
The Always On Display is only used on Xiaomi devices with an OLED display, which minimizes battery consumption because only individual pixels of the OLED display are lighted. In addition, the AoD can replace the notification LED because an animation can be activated when a notification is received.

Note: Not all Xiaomi smartphones support the Always On Display.

In addition to the schedule for automatically enabling/disabling the Always On Display on the Xiaomi smartphone, we can also set a permanent activation. Here, the Always On Display is always enabled when the device is in standby or sleep mode. In addition, we can also specify whether AoD should remain active during battery-saving mode.

If we don't want to set the Always-on display's pre-installed themes on the Xiaomi smartphone, we can select our own picture to be displayed there. The selected photo or image will be displayed, and we can set the clock position, text color, and battery status or notification display.
